1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Storyweaver application ("App"), operated by Brijbyte ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Storyweaver is a children's storybook creation app that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to generate illustrated stories based on user-provided prompts. The service includes:

  • AI-generated story text based on your prompts
  • AI-generated illustrations in various art styles
  • AI-generated narration audio
  • Interactive branching story paths

3. AI-Generated Content

3.1 Nature of Content

All stories, illustrations, and audio narration in Storyweaver are generated by artificial intelligence based on the prompts and settings you provide. The content is created algorithmically and is not authored, reviewed, or curated by humans before delivery.

3.2 Content Accuracy and Appropriateness

While we strive to generate age-appropriate content for children, AI systems may occasionally produce content that is:

  • Inaccurate or factually incorrect
  • Unexpected or inconsistent with the intended prompt
  • Not entirely suitable for the selected age group
  • Culturally insensitive or inappropriate in certain contexts

Parental guidance is strongly advised. We recommend that an adult review all generated stories before sharing them with children.

3.3 No Guarantee

We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will be free from errors, bias, or inappropriate material. Brijbyte is not responsible for the specific content generated by the AI, as it is produced dynamically based on your inputs and the AI model's capabilities.

4. User Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the prompts and inputs you provide to the App.
  • You should not intentionally use the App to generate harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content.
  • If the App is used by or for children, an adult should supervise the creation and consumption of stories.
  • You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before sharing it with minors.

5. Account and Authentication

You may sign in using Google or Apple authentication. By signing in, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate authentication information
  • Maintain the security of your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

6. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account at any time through the App's Settings page. Upon requesting deletion:

  • Your account will be deactivated immediately and you will be signed out.
  • Full deletion of all associated data — including stories, images, audio, and personal information — may take up to 30 days to complete.
  • This action is irreversible. Once deletion is requested, there is no way to reinstate your account or recover your data.
  • If you sign up again after deletion, a completely new account will be created with no connection to your previous data.

7. Intellectual Property

Stories generated through Storyweaver are created for your personal use. The AI-generated content does not grant you exclusive intellectual property rights. We retain the right to use anonymized, aggregated data to improve our services.

8. Kids Mode and Parental Controls

The App includes a "Kids Mode" feature that restricts story creation and settings access behind biometric authentication (Face ID / Touch ID). This feature is provided as a convenience and does not replace active parental supervision of content.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Story generation depends on third-party AI services and may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, capacity, or technical issues.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Brijbyte shall not be liable for:

  • Any AI-generated content that is inaccurate, inappropriate, or offensive
  • Any damages arising from the use of AI-generated stories
  • Any emotional or psychological impact of AI-generated content on children or adults
  • Service interruptions or data loss

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
